Here's first part of two mood themes - an Ojamajo Doremi theme I'm making as I go, and a Digimon theme I’m (heavily) polishing that I worked on for the last couple months of 2025. Both have borders, are 94x72, and have a few alternate mood image options apiece.

The Ojamajo Doremi theme:
- only features screencaps from the first season/series/51 episodes
- is going to be made for Doremi fans in general, trying to give as many characters an appearance as possible and not favour anyone too much except in the sense of the main characters naturally showing up more than other characters

The Digimon theme:
- will feature images from 02 (+ Hurricane Touchdown + The Beginning), Tamers (+ Runaway Locomon), Frontier, and Appmon, also featuring some-but-less Adventure and Ghost Game - mostly screencaps, but also album and video covers, and maybe the occasional trading card or promo art
- was made for me and focuses on characters I like
- occasionally involves Wormmon, aka a cartoon bug. Just in case? Here in part 1, he only shows up in the alternates (under an HTML-5 cut)

Both these themes:
- should be assumed to contain spoilers through endgame for all involved canon material
- can be used by anyone! Just please link back to any of my posts in this community in your profile or sticky post or some other public location. I’ll also edit in a compilation post (for each) link with all the images posted in one place on my journal at the end of the year

Here we are, the final week of Part 1!

This week's Minimum, Medium, and Maximum moods are: Relaxed, Silly, Uncomfortable

These three moods help diversify your mood theme; if you want maximum different images with the fewest possible graphics, these are good to include.

But what do you think about the moods themselves? Relaxed and Uncomfortable are almost polar opposites here! Hopefully, once you figure out the one, the other will come easily. Silly is always kinda fun, IMO, but if you're working with a serious character, you might have a bit of trouble with it. Do you put them in clown makeup, or a funny hat? Or maybe there's a scene where their drama is being crashed by a much more unserious character that you can draw from? Let's talk about it!

So I tried to do this back in 2024, didn't finish, and then sped through making a completely different mood theme in 2025 (in approx. 24 hours somehow????), and so!! Maybe third time's the charm for making a mood theme at a regular pace.

I'm making this one of the unit ALKALOID from Ensemble Stars! and it's going pretty damn well so far ;D I've got part one day~

Here come another three moods!

This week's Minimum, Medium, and Maximum moods are: Scared, Thoughtful, Working

Something important to note here is that Working is technically the final mandatory mood. If you've completed a graphic for all of the moods for the first five weeks, then congratulations! You technically have enough for a full mood theme!

That said, it doesn't count as enough for the free Dreamwidth points; you need to complete at least three more moods for that. I strongly suggest next week's moods for that, since they'll give you the greatest variety of mood graphics for your effort, but they can technically be any mood; if you want to plug all of the remaining moods into a random selector and get three out of that, those would work!

You may have guessed from reading the above that there's only one week left after this for Part 1! That's three moods this week and three moods next week. How have you been doing with the moods so far? Are you having any trouble with this week's moods? Need some help generating some ideas? Or have you already finished and want to show off? Another week down with three new moods!

This week's Minimum, Medium, and Maximum moods are: Nerdy, Okay, Sad

Some more straightforward moods after last week's Indescribable! (Belatedly, if you're still having trouble with that one—valid, TBH—taking a look at what site supported mood themes have done with it might be helpful; a lot of them look pretty similar to the later-occurring Blank, though the Jellyfish have also been turned upside-down in contrast.) Hopefully everyone here is already acquainted with Nerdy 😉 If you're doing your own art, slapping a pair of nerdy glasses on is a quick way to convey the mood, but my upcoming pigeon mood has the bird incubating some polyhedral dice! Okay can be a little difficult to contrast with Good, but Sad is pretty cut-and-dry (or cut-and-wet, if we're including tears).

Going strong with the third week of Part 1! This is the half-way point of the first Part, which also means it's half-way through the Minimum Mood Track; if you're only in the game to make something small but mighty, you could be half way there this week!

This week's Minimum, Medium, and Maximum moods are: Enthralled, Happy, Indescribable

Some nicer moods this week, along with one that's a little more difficult to depict. Enthralled and Happy are straightforward enough, but what do you do for Indescribable? Got some more moods for you!

This week's moods are: Relaxed, Silly, Uncomfortable

These are the first secondary/"branch" moods, which I focus on only because they have the most moods that also branch/leaf off from them. If you only want to do a little more than the bare minimum for a mood theme, but still want a good variety of images, these ones should fill things out nicely. That said, the last of the strictly mandatory moods were last week, so if you're not going for the Medium or Maximum mood tracks, these ones are just for fun! Make as many or as few moods as you want to from here on out.

Whew! After meaning to get started on this for... weeks, lol, I then sat down and busted out all of part one in an afternoon. My mood theme features the talk sprites from Persona 2, one of my fav games. Or should I say two of my favs haha! This will feature sprites from both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment.

Either way, this duology is a lot of fun, and I'm having a lot of fun with my mood theme so far. ~~Even if I haven't had a chance to use my trashcan fav yet. He'll be here though. Someday. XD~~

Hi, I found out about this community this month, so I had to power through the first part to catch up :D My mood theme features Knives & Legato from Trigun (specifically using the manga) and I'm feeling very accomplished having finished so much already~

And with this, the end of Part 1! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to stick with this or not, but I'm having such a good time with this and I'm so pleased to have made it through five whole weeks already (۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶!!!
