We've made it to the last week of Part 6! One major part to go, then one minor part, and we'll have gone through all 132 moods in the mood theme list!

This week's moods are: Cold, Dirty, Drunk

This weeks minimal moods are: Relaxed, Silly, Uncomfortable

This part's optional mood is: Creative

This week's moods are pretty visually evocative, IMO. There's a lot of fun prop work you can do with at least Cold and Drunk, but there's potential for Dirty, as well! Definitely some of the moods that are easier to turn into images, I would say.

But what do you think? Are this week's moods easier than they have been lately, or not? Do you expect to struggle with any of these moods? And what about the optional mood for this part, Creative? Have you been keeping up with those so you can skip the final part, or do you want to extend the fun those extra couple of weeks? Let's talk about it!

Time for another Moody Monday!

This week's moods are: Morose, Numb, Rejected

This week's minimal moods are: Scared, Thoughtful, Working

Got some more down-in-the-dumps moods here! Morose seems a little on the dramatic side to me, as far as interpretation goes. Numb is like Blank, but sadder. As someone with ADHD, Rejected terrifies me a little bit, but I'm not going to let that stop me from making a good image for it!

What about you? Are you anticipating trouble with any of these moods? Do you think you'll have them nailed down right away, or are you expecting a bit more work? Do you need suggestions for any of them? It's also fine to skip any of the non-minimal moods at this point, since we're really getting into the nitty-gritty here. But going for a 100% completionist run can also be fun! What do you think? Let's talk about it!

Back with more moods!

This week's moods are: Jealous, Lonely, Melancholy

This week's minimal moods are: Nerdy, Okay, Sad

There's that contrast with Envious I was talking about last week; any ideas about how to differentiate the two? Lonely, too, really tugs on the heartstrings. Melancholy, meanwhile, is sad with almost a hint of nostalgia for me—though we'll get to Nostalgic proper later.

How about you? What do you think of this week's moods? Are you aiming for all three, just picking one or two that spark your creativity, or skipping all of them? If you followed the main track, we're well past all the higher-level moods, so it's fine to take your time with, or even ignore the nitty-gritty moods. If you're following the Minimal Moods, you're half-way through the list already; I remember Okay giving me fits, but maybe you're having a great time with it! Do you want to share you ideas? Do you need help with any of the moods? Let's talk about it!

Welcome back for our next set of moods!

This week's moods are: Disappointed, Envious, Pessimistic

This week's minimal moods are: Enthralled, Happy, Indescribable

For those of you making fandom mood themes, Disappointed seems ripe for grabbing screencaps or pages or whatever; you can go with a moment that your subjects were really disappointed, or even a moment that disappointed you, personally! For envious, it might be time to lean on the color green a little bit; or you might want to save that for next week when Jealous rears its ugly head. Or why not both? After all, the mood is always greener on the other emotion, or something. As for Pessimistic, it might be fun to try and do something to compliment Optimistic. There's plenty of room to stretch in all three of these!

What do you think? Do these moods seem easy or difficult to you? Is green the correct color for envy, or does it bring to mind a different hue? Did Optimistic give you so much trouble that you could just about use the same image for Pessimistic? Do you worry that Disappointed will disappoint? If you have fun making them, I don't think it will! In any case: Let's talk about it!

Chugging right along with our next moods...

This week's moods are: Crappy, Crushed, Depressed

The minimal moods for this week are: Determined, Devious, Energetic

Not exactly very upbeat moods this week, I gotta say. Still, there's lots of room to pun, if you're grasping for ideas! For crappy, you can have a picture of a bathroom or a toilet. For crushed, how about your subject getting literally crushed by a large object? Go full Looney Toons and drop an anvil on them! Depressed is a little more difficult there, but maybe your subject has developed some mysterious dent or something. Or, to contrast with the others, that might be one to play it straight with.

What do you think? Are these gloomy moods getting you down, or are they more cathartic? Or maybe you get a chuckle out of finding the perfect images of your subject being sad? There's nothing wrong with indulging in a bit of schadenfreude from time to time, after all. Let's talk about it!

Welcome back for Part 6!

This week's moods are: Lethargic, Listless, Bored

This week's minimal moods are: Angry, Awake, Confused

Another group of similar seeming moods! For me personally, Lethargic almost has undertones of annoyance; like you don't feel up to doing much, and you're not exactly happy about it either, thanks. Listless, meanwhile, brings the word restless to mind, except somehow even more at loose ends. And Bored, of course, is tired of everything.

Those are just my thoughts, though; what about you? Do you think these moods are really similar, or are they more distinct than I'm giving them credit for? Do you find different nuances in them? And how do you anticipate putting images to them? Let's talk about it!
