At last we've reached the final rats!

Part 7 rats )

And those are the Part 7 moods! The asterisk by Nostalgic is because my original plan (and as is still reflected in the custom mood theme I have set up for myself), I was just going to use one of the options from Geeky, Nerdy, and Dorky; they cover a lot of the same ground, it's fine! Only then, uh. My Fancy Rats got approved to be an official Dreamwidth site-supported mood theme?! So I had to come up with some alternate versions that didn't involve other peoples' IP in a hurry 😂 Anyway, it was just in the latest site code tour, so it'll be going live real soon now (along with some jellyfish I made for funsies), so like. Keep an eye out for that in the next site update!

All of that means that I'm going to go ahead and share my Part 8 moods early; I was originally going to wait until the final break, just to keep things consistent, but uh. Well. With any luck, the moods will be live for everyone by then anyway, so why wait?

I think that's all I have to say for these moods right now; I'm super looking forward to them going live!

As a reminder, anyone who wants to is welcome to use any of them as icons, just remember to credit me somewhere. I'm planning to put up a formal download link for the whole mood theme, alternate versions included, after Part 8 is officially over. Yay, rats! Yay, Dreamwidth! Yaaaaay!

Woot, mood share time!

This is a pretty special Part, because I went all out on the moods from Week 5. I'll be putting those under their own cuts for emphasis.

Phew! Okay, that's all I can think of to say on these myself for now; if you have any comments or questions, though, I'd be happy to ramble on even more about them!

Just a quick modly note: While I've been adding tags for moods and parts as we go, tonight I decided to add a few new organizational tags. These tags are:

  • Complete Part
  • Mood Share
  • Partial Mood Theme
  • Complete Mood Theme
  • Finished Mood Theme
  • Use: Personal
  • Use: Conditional
  • Use: Anyone

Complete Part is for any posts where you share all the images from a whole Part of the schedule, while Mood Share is for any posts you make to share any number of mood images, from one to all one hundred and thirty-two 😉

Partial Mood Theme is for a mood theme that is ready to be used but doesn't have an image for every mood. Complete Mood Theme, on the other hand, is a tag for any mood themes that you make that actually do contain at least one image for every single mood.

Finished Mood Theme is for a mood theme that you've finished working on, for the time being or entirely. Stopping places are going to come at different points for different people, and especially with Minimum Mood Themes starting next week, I want community members to have a way to acknowledge that they've done all they want to do for a given mood theme and that it's finished as it is. If you're sharing a mood theme that you're done working on for now, be it Partial or Complete, please tag it as Finished!

The three Use tags, Personal, Conditional, and Free, are to indicate who a given mood theme's creator is allowing to use the theme. Use: Personal is for any mood themes whose creator wants to limit use to themselves alone. Use: Conditional is for mood themes where their creator might allow other users access on conditions, such as "Please ask first," or "Please tip the creator to use ($3 suggested)"; users of this tag, please keep your conditions reasonable, or restrict your mood theme to personal use! Use: Anyone is for any mood theme that the creator is making available to the public, no questions asked.

Finally, Fannish Mood Theme and Original Mood Theme differentiate between mood themes that are from a given fandom (such as taken from screencaps of your favorite show) and mood themes that are someone's original creations.

Thank you, everyone, for participating in this community with me! Please let me know if any of these tags are confusing, or if you have suggestions to make this information more clear.
