We're in the final week of Part 2! This is the home stretch for both the Medium and Minimum Tracks.

This week's Minimum moods are: Relaxed, Silly, Uncomfortable

This week's Medium and Maximum moods are: Tired, Aggravated, Annoyed

As a side note, "Tired" is the final mood that branches, so anyone who wants to cut out a little early, it's also a good stopping point.

Next week is our second break of the year! Following that, we'll be diving right into derivatives of Angry for the start of Part 3, while the Medium and Minimum Tracks will start at the beginning again. Are you making good progress on your mood theme? Looking forward to a break? Maybe you're almost at the end? Or maybe you're looking forward to joining in for the second round of the Medium Track this year? Let's talk about it!

Time for more moods!

This week's Minimum moods are: Scared, Thoughtful, Working

This week's Medium and Maximum moods are: Exhausted, Sick, Content

As a note, Sick is the last tertiary mood; there are only two other moods that branch out after this one, and they don't branch very far. If anyone's looking to dip out early, this is a good stopping point. Sticking around to finish out the Medium Track won't take much longer either, though, with only another three moods after Content. At the end of the day, pick the track and stopping point that makes the most sense for you, even if it's not part of the official schedule!

Any thoughts on stopping points? How about the progress on your own mood theme? Interested in starting another one when this Part is done, or continuing along the Maximum Track? Let's talk about it!

This week's moods are brought to you with a side of facepalm 🤦‍♀️

This week's Minimum moods are: Nerdy, Okay, Sad

This week's Medium and Maximum moods are: Satisfied, Mischievous, Exanimate

I also just realized that all of the dates in the Mood Theme Schedule are based on last year, which was a leap year; this didn't make much difference in the first two months of the year, but started throwing things off at the beginning of March 😅 Oops! I'll see about getting that fixed up in the not-too-distant future. In the mean time, I hope you'll bear with me and the slightly incorrect date listings.

In non-date related news, what are your thoughts on this week's moods? Are you ready to tackle them, or do you need a bit more inspiration first? We're also coming up on the end of the Medium Track for the first time this year; is anyone working on that track, or thinking of starting it next time? Let's talk about it!

Aaaaack! I almost missed it, but I didn't in the end! This week's moods are here!

Today's Minimum moods are: Enthralled, Happy, Indescribable

Today's Medium and Maximum moods are: Discontent, Gloomy, Anxious

Anyway, still busy-ish (visiting family half-way across the country) so I still don't have much to say, but I'd love to hear all of your thoughts on this week's moods! Let's talk about it!

I hope everyone's up for more Part 2!

This week's Minimum moods are: Determined, Devious, Energetic

This week's Medium and Maximum moods are: Refreshed, Surprised, Lazy

I'm afraid I've got rather a lot of plates spinning this week and don't have much commentary to offer myself, but maybe you do? Let's talk about it!

And we're back! I hope everyone had a nice break week.

Starting this week, the Medium and Maximum tracks keep going forward, while the Minimum track restarts. If you want just a tiny mood theme with the fewest possible images, now's a great time to get on board! If you want a somewhat more robust mood theme, you can still join now, and finish up the first eighteen moods in Part 3. Or you can double up, and do six moods a week! It's up to you.

This week's Minimum Track moods are: Angry, Awake, Confused

This week's Medium and Maximum moods are: Stressed, Excited, Optimistic

Are you ready to get back to work? Or maybe you're starting your mood theme now? Are you new to the community, or have you been hanging out here for a while? And what are your thoughts on this week's moods, for any track? Let's talk about it!

So, I've had a pretty stressful couple of weeks, and I've fallen behind on posting. But I've just moved states as of two days ago, and I'm back now! Here's all of Part 2, including what I haven't posted; although everything needs a bit of work.

Another exciting week!

This week's moods are: Tired, Aggravated, Annoyed

Tired is the very last of our branching moods! Every mood after it, including Aggravated and Annoyed, don't have any moods that branch off of them, which is why I refer to them as "leaf" moods. In addition to that, next week will be our second official break. It's pretty exciting to be getting so far into a custom mood theme!

How about all of you? Do you have any ideas ready to go for these moods? Is inspiration striking you at this very moment? Or do you need a little help with any of them? Are you looking forward to next week's break? Let's talk about it!

It's been another week, which means it's time for another three moods!

This week's moods are: Exhausted, Sick, Content

Exhausted and Sick are the last of the tertiary moods, so this is another potential stopping point for anyone who needs to duck out, or who needs a good long break. Content, meanwhile, is one of only two quaternary moods, with next week's Tired being the other; every single mood after that is a "leaf" mood. If you only want to finish every mood that has another mood branching off of it (plus every root mood), you've only got four left to go! If you're sticking around for the whole thing, though, we're about at the twenty percent mark.

What do you think about this week's moods? Do you have ideas for any of them yet? Are you eager to be finished with the branch moods and to move on to leaves, or do you wish there were more? Let's talk about it!

It's been a VERY funny few weeks for me, but I've never stopped thinking about getting back on this project even though I ended up falling behind. So now, at last, here we are! I've got three weeks worth of mood images to share this time, meaning nine silly little Pokémon to throw your way. I suppose that means I better put most of them behind a cut, huh!

Week 3 - Surprised, Lazy, Discontent )

Week 4 - Gloomy, Uncomfortable, Anxious )

Week 5 - Satisfied, Mischievous, Exanimate )

So thank goodness, I think that brings me back up to date! Thanks again as always for comments you've shared, guys, and sorry for not replying to the latest ones. They were appreciated! And I always love hearing what other people have to say about different Pokemon, haha! Take it easy, folks :>

And we're back with Week 5!

This week's moods are: Satisfied, Mischievous, Exanimate

It's always fun when a mood isn't recognized by Mozilla's dictionary! Luckily, Dreamwidth is prepared to link to other dictionaries to help us out with Exanimate here. And all of the moods, actually! If you click on any given server-supported mood, such as angelkitten's Big Eyes, which this community uses, or the page where you might be uploading your own, you can scroll through the alphabetical list of moods to find any you're not quite sure about. The link that Dreamwidth provides goes to the Dictionary.com definition of the word, providing useful added context for any emotions that might be giving you trouble!

Any other thoughts on this week's moods? Do any of them look especially tough to you, or really easy? And how's your mood theme going overall? Do you need help with any of them, or want to take a moment to brag? Let's talk about it!

And another week passes. :-D I really thought I'd get more screencaps from concerts, but I happen to be combing through film clips a lot lol. Maybe later in the year I'll be all over the concert footage.

Ack,I'm late! And on such an important point in the process, as well! 🤦‍♀️

This week's moods are: Gloomy, Uncomfortable, Anxious

These are some pretty significant moods, because they're the last of the secondary moods! These moods all branch from the root moods, but also have moods that branch from them in turn. This is also a pretty good stopping point, if you want to have a fairly minimal mood theme; you have more image diversity than if you only did the moods from Part 1, but it's still a lot less work than the whole year. Plus, with Uncomfortable, all three secondary moods that share images with the most other moods are now covered!

That said, if you want to keep going for a little while, there's still a few tertiary moods (which branch off from secondary moods and have moods that branch from them as well) and two quaternary moods coming up in Part 2, both of which also make good stopping points. And that's also if you're not in for the long haul!

What are your plans? Do you want to keep going for the entire thing, or do you want to take a longer break after reaching a very stable stopping point? Do you want to start a whole new mood theme after finishing with one (wherever that may be in the process), or is one enough for you (for now, at least)? And what do you think of this week's moods? Are there any you think you might have trouble with, or already have ideas for? Let's talk about it!

Rolling right along into the third week of the second leg of our mood theme journey...

This week's moods are: Surprised, Lazy, Discontent

I'd love to come up with something more eloquent to prompt discussion, but I'm away from home and the background music is competing for my attention 😅 Still! Which of these three moods do you think will give you trouble, if any? Which ones seem like they'll come easily to you? Do you need to stop by Dreamwidth's Mood Emporium (AKA the place where you can look at all of Dreamwidth's site supported mood themes at the same time and pick a specific mood to sample)? Let's talk about it!

Flying through with a Sunday morning 6am post! Busy week means I almost missed posting these guys on time, and we can't be having that!!!

: Refreshed, represented by Magby

: Relaxed, represented by Stantler

: Silly, represented by Dedenne

For all their simplicity, Stantler are one of my all time favourite favourite Pokémon and have a very special place in my heart, so it was important to me to get them in here somewhere! As for Magby, I had originally intended the 'no duplicates' rule to apply to evolutionary lines as well - since Magmortar was already here before, Magby should have been eliminated as an option. However... I just couldn't resist the idea of the little guy having a nice refreshing lava bath. Rules are made to be broken, baby!

OKAY, OFF TO WORK I GO

Technical issues for me--computer is broken. Luckily I've got a buffer, but it'll be a while until I can start working on a new batch of these!! These pictures in particular will likely end up being replaced in the future.

Moving right along with week two of part two!

This week's moods are: Refreshed, Relaxed, Silly

Those are some nice, laid-back emotions to go with this laid-back community 😂 Do you have any thoughts on how you'll approach any of these yet? Any idea which, if any, will give you trouble? Or do you have plans for all of them already? One of the nice things about working on "branch" moods like these is that, if your initial idea for a specific mood isn't quite right, you can re-use it for a related mood later down the line. Anyway, let's talk about it!
