A Custom Mood Theme in a Year

Honestly, I'm setting all of these up at once, so hopefully this is already going well! If not, I'll have some emails to cancel.

Goodness, those are some bland moods to work with 😂 Still, there's potential in all of them! What do you think? Are you going for all three, or do you plan to stick with one and call it good? Honestly, it's kinda nice to end the month on such chill moods. Even if we're not necessarily feeling that, it can be soothing just to think about how to portray these. Or maybe you're really stressed about it; hopefully someone here can help, in that case! Let's talk about it!

Time for more moods!

This week's Medium and Maximum moods are: Exhausted, Sick, Content

As a note, Sick is the last tertiary mood; there are only two other moods that branch out after this one, and they don't branch very far. If anyone's looking to dip out early, this is a good stopping point. Sticking around to finish out the Medium Track won't take much longer either, though, with only another three moods after Content. At the end of the day, pick the track and stopping point that makes the most sense for you, even if it's not part of the official schedule!

I, for one, am a little Embarrassed that I've missed so many mid-week check-ins for Part 7! Still, we're so far into the year, most people seem to have gotten past the need for them in one way or another. That said, I feel like it can be Intimidating to get so close to the end of such a huge project! How will it turn out? Will it be good? Will you have to re-do any of it? Don't be too Nervous, though; we're in the home stretch!

What do you think? Are you pleased with how far you've come? Are you happy with what you've made so far? And what are your thoughts on this week's moods: Do you think you'll have an okay time, or could you use some help and/or input on any of them? Let's talk about it!

It's Monday evening where I am, which means it's Mood o'Clock!

This week's moods are: Touched, Dorky, Geeky

This week's minimal moods are: Scared, Thoughtful, Working

These are some fun moods this week, IMO. It may take a bit of work to differentiate between Dorky and Geeky, but that's part of the fun! Meanwhile, Touched gets into major heartwarming potential. Is there a really beautiful moment that your subject has experienced and that you want to immortalize forever? This might be the mood for it! If you're coming up with original character moods, it might also be fun to lean into the pun; the mood theme that first inspired me to make my own, the Heartless mood theme by Ruby D, featured a standard Heartless from Kingdom Hearts being poked (and therefore Touched) by one of the human characters from off-screen. There's potential fun to be had with that!

What about you? Do you anticipate having trouble figuring out this week's moods? These ones seem like fun! A nice variety after the past few weeks of Angry sub-genres, with a lot of room for creativity and interpretation. But what do you think? Do these moods seem like a nice break, or were you just getting into the swing of more miffed moods? Have you got ideas for any of them yet, or are they just not working? Or is it the opposite problem, and you have too many ideas for one or more of them? If so, you might check and see if there are other moods that your ideas might work for; or maybe you want to use one of your superfluous ideas as an icon instead? Let's talk about it!
