I don't know if anyone remembers Uncomfortable, but it turns out that Hopeful is actually sitting on another rat there 😉

Also, tremendous thanks to my sister-in-law for her suggestion for Chipper! I was this close to having a rat sticking out of a Pringles tube instead, but I like this better.

Finally, Thankful is a nod to a drawing I did of one of my first pet rats. The rat in question was a gray hooded dumbo rather than a top-ear pointed, but I remembered a sketch I did of him holding a piece of celery, and that ultimately inspired this one.
