Part 2, Week 2 - Refreshed, Relaxed, Silly

Flying through with a Sunday morning 6am post! Busy week means I almost missed posting these guys on time, and we can't be having that!!!

For all their simplicity, Stantler are one of my all time favourite favourite Pokémon and have a very special place in my heart, so it was important to me to get them in here somewhere! As for Magby, I had originally intended the 'no duplicates' rule to apply to evolutionary lines as well - since Magmortar was already here before, Magby should have been eliminated as an option. However... I just couldn't resist the idea of the little guy having a nice refreshing lava bath. Rules are made to be broken, baby!

I love the idea of a Fire-type Pokémon being refreshed by lava! That's such a cute idea! And since hot springs tend to pop up around volcanoes, trainers of Fire-types can go and get refreshed on the same trip 😃 Wait, isn't that what Flannery's gym was all about in Gen III...?

Stantler is definitely in relaxo-mode there; plenty of time to enjoy the greenery when it has its buddies to watch its back! Not to mention those huge eye-spots to drive off predators...

Dedenne! A kindred spirit! I, too, have often wished I could smoosh through the screen to hug my friends and other adorable critters on the other side... Alas, technology has not yet progressed to that point 😞 Well, except maybe for Porygon. Share your secrets with us, mighty artificial Pokémon!
