Moving right along with week two of part two!
This week's moods are: Refreshed, Relaxed, Silly
Those are some nice, laid-back emotions to go with this laid-back community 😂 Do you have any thoughts on how you'll approach any of these yet? Any idea which, if any, will give you trouble? Or do you have plans for all of them already? One of the nice things about working on "branch" moods like these is that, if your initial idea for a specific mood isn't quite right, you can re-use it for a related mood later down the line. Anyway, let's talk about it!

Date: 2024-02-20 10:12 pm (UTC)I'm kicking some ideas around for refreshed & silly, but I am stuck on how to depict a relaxed pumpkin.

Date: 2024-02-22 05:48 am (UTC)Oof, that's a rough one to be stuck on; after some of the root moods (though not all—looking at you, Awake!), Relaxed is one of the three* that shares images with the most other moods. A soft smile and closed eyes, maybe? Like, squashed "U"/parentheses-laid-flat closed eyes, not up-turned. Or I wonder if you could have the pumpkin leaning against something?
* The other two moods are Silly and Uncomfortable, for anyone curious.

Date: 2024-02-23 12:10 am (UTC)Interesting. A soft smile and closed eyes isn't a bad idea. I might be able to do that. I had considered a pumpkin floating in a pool or on a pool floatie, but I just don't have space for that to translate visually.
Hmm ...
Date: 2024-02-23 03:02 am (UTC)Alternatively, search "jack-o-lantern" plus (whatever mood) for ideas on how other people have shown it on actual pumpkins.
Re: Hmm ...
Date: 2024-02-24 10:38 pm (UTC)That is an excellent strategy.
Re: Hmm ...
Date: 2024-02-24 11:01 pm (UTC)In tight space, remember leaves can cover part of the pumpkin. You could also use little green vine tendrils that would hide less but still point downward. All you really need is some combination of downward and smile to convey "relaxed" or similar moods.
