Cruising in for a mid-week check-in!

A quick special note today: In the latest dw_maintenance post, I asked about the possibility of submitting user-made mood themes to be considered for official site-supported mood themes, and momijizukamori linked to this wiki page about exactly that! Some of the details may not be 100% up to date (I'm waiting to hear back on whether .gif is strictly necessary for mood themes that incorporate transparency, or if .png is okay), but it's certainly a good starting point if you're creating an original works mood theme and think it would be cool to have it as part of Dreamwidth officially!


How's your process going so far this week? Are you stuck on any images, or are they coming easily to you? Were you initially stuck only to figure out a way to make something work? Let's talk about it!

This is also a good time and place to share images if you don't want to make a whole post, to seek help and suggestions, and to share WIPs. If you're having trouble or looking for feedback, or just want a quieter place to share, have at it!

So this week, I very impulsively decided to make up a quick Minimal Mood Theme with blue pixel jellyfish. And then I decided, what the heck, I'll do a recolor of them as well, so I have six different colors of jellyfish mood themes! And then this conversation happened, and I made some more jellies to cover all of the branch moods, then mailed all of them in, and uh. Here we are? Keep an eye out on site-wide mood theme options, I guess!
