Part 4, Week 2

Time to plug in the next batch of moods!

This week's Minimum moods are: Determined, Devious, Energetic

This week's Medium moods are: Stressed, Excited, Optimistic

This week's Maximum moods are: Horny, Good, Grateful

As a quick discussion reminder, I do want to keep this comm friendly for all ages, so if there's something 18+ -ish that you want to do with Horny, please either hide it under Details/Summary tags, or post it in your own journal and link it back in the comments.

Other than that, have at it as usual! What are your thoughts on this week's moods? How do you think you'll portray them? "Good" in particular seems tricky to me; what are your thoughts? Let's talk about it!

Artistic license is a thing. :D

I got curious and looked it up, though. There seems to be some variation:

Just a nubbin

Looks more like a thumb

Which makes me wonder if different types of rats have developed paw variations based on environmental needs.

Huh, interesting.

Opinions vary regarding squirrel digits. Some people say they have thumbs, while others say not or only a pseudothumb or protothumb. While it is certainly possible for what they have to evolve further, it is already thumblike enough for squirrels to manipulate objects in ways that truly pawed animals cannot. This is obvious to anyone who has watched them hack into a birdfeeder. They are dextrous enough to work many types of latch or catch that does not have a padlock or an extremely strong spring on it.
